Africa Mercy: Anchored and Ready to Serve

Africa Mercy: Anchored and Ready to Serve

1 – March – 2011

Just hours ago, our flagship, the Africa Mercy, reached Freetown, Sierra Leone. Our volunteer crew will spend the next 10 months serving the forgotten poor, providing FREE life-changing surgeries, as well as other medical and dental care to those in desperate need.

This is our fifth Field Service to Sierra Leone, and we wanted to share this special moment with you.

Click here to view a slideshow of the arrival photos we just received via satellite.

Patient screening begins next week, with surgeries to begin just shortly following!

Thank you for your prayers and support during the sail. Join us in celebrating our arrival to Sierra Leone by viewing the latest photos HERE!

Blessings,

Donovan Palmer
Africa Mercy Managing Director
